BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CLUB:

Formally known as the Worcester Auto Club For Motorcycling; but is often referred to as The Worcester Motorcycle Club.

The club promoted the use of vehicles such as motor assisted bicycles, motorcycles, motorcycle combinations, three wheelers and trikes.

The club is now housed in Tower Building, situated in Perdiswell park north of Worcester, it is the only building left within the park on what was a 2nd World War emergency airfield and what used to be the shower block.

PRESENT DAY:

The naming of the web site to Worcester Motorcycle Club enables motorcyclist's new to the area or motorcycling to find us easily on the web and to dispel the notion that we are a car club. Motorcycling for pleasure nowadays is still a most popular activity and the club is home to well over one hundred members.

The club is licensed and open three times a week. Sunday 12:00 noon to 2:00pm, Tuesday evening 8:00pm to 11:00pm and Friday evening 8:00pm to 11:00pm; the club also hold fund raising events and disco's which are scheduled throughout the year.

We are an official control point for the National Rally. Many riders choose us for their rest stop because of the facilities we provide.

MEMBERSHIP:

Membership runs from April to March and there is a £1 joining fee
Single membership is £20 per annum
Joint membership is £25 per annum
Those joining part way through the year pay a pro rata fee.
Visitors must sign the visitors book, if after 6 visits you intend to continue using the club you are expected to join.
A membership form is available online for you to download in pdf format or at the club. The form including the fee is presented at the monthly committee for approval.
