History
Formally known as the Worcester Auto Club ; but is often referred to as The Worcester Motorcycle Club

Formed in 1934 the club promoted the use of vehicles such as motor assisted bicycles, motorcycles, motorcycle combinations, three wheelers and trikes.

The club is now housed in Tower Building, situated in Perdiswell park north of Worcester, it is now the only building left within the park on what was not only the first Municipal Airport in the world and 2nd World War emergency airfield but also a Prisoner of War Camp immediately after the war.

During the war the airfied was home to among others the 81 Group Fighter Command. The Royal flight was also stationed there.

In September 1942 an Dakota transport plane made an emergency landing and crashed through the railings on to the Bilford Road and into the City rubbish dump.
